These adorable golden doodle puppies are being placed through the Macy’s Way Puppy Placement Program—and they can’t wait to meet you!

Additional Macy’s Way pups will be joining the fun throughout the day. Stop by for a cuddle, play some games, and maybe even win a prize or two!

Each organization is given a special day during the CWS to share their mission and promote their cause—and we are honored to have been chosen for Father’s Day, June 15th.

The College World Series held a special place in Macy’s heart. She spent two summers handing out Baseball America magazines in the 100-degree heat just so she could attend the night games. Like so many others, the CWS was more than just a tournament—it was a tradition, full of memories and meaning.

We’ll be celebrating Macy’s spirit by handing out prizes, playing games, and sharing our story throughout the day. As Father’s Day approaches, we’ll be announcing more details about our plans—so stay tuned!

Valentine’s Day 2024 felt like the perfect time to honor Macy by placing two adorable golden doodle pups with some very special families.

These families have recently experienced life-changing events and are working their way through difficult times. We hope these pups bring them a little extra love, comfort, and joy—just as Macy always did for those around her.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Hermsmeyer’s Breeding for their continued support of Macy’s Way and for making this special moment possible.

And of course, we have to share the story behind their names. As Mia, Macy’s 16-year-old sister, put it:
“How about Bambi and Thumper? I have a vivid memory of watching Bambi with Macy.”
It was a beautiful memory—and a perfect tribute.

Bambi is a female miniature golden doodle that was born on December 1, 2023. She will be between 15 and 25 pounds.
